I was introduced to the foundations of Scientific Illustration during my honours course. The following four works are the final works illustrating what I've learnt.

I was asked to animate the germination process of the Oxalis deserticola for a proffessor at the Department of Botany and Zoology at Stellenbosch University. The objective was to create a clear, artistic animation illustrating the unique reverse-germination patterns of Oxalis seeds over a mere three days —an extraordinary rarity the professor sought to convey to a broader audience.
